Victoria Imperioli is a New York City based Film Director with degrees in both Philosophy and Buddhist Studies. Victoria is an acclaimed multidisciplinary artist. As a director she draws upon her knowledge of Western and Eastern philosophies, her vast experience in interior and set design, her work with live music and her many years producing and telling stories.Victoria began her professional career as an Interior Designer, landing the cover stories of Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, InStyle, and The New York Observer. In 2007 Victoria was selected to decorate a room for the prestigious Kips Bay Show House. She regularly creates lush interiors for Live Nation venues, most notably Los Angeles’ historic Wiltern theater. Victoria expanded as both an artist and professional in 2004 when she transformed a raw, commercial space into Studio Dante, an Off Broadway theatre in New York City. Hailed by the New York Times as a “jewel box”, this “Belle Epoch” inspired playhouse produced challenging new plays. Victoria served as co-Artistic Director for the Studio and designed all of their productions, often to critical acclaim.In 2009 Victoria designed the set for the film, The Hungry Ghosts which opened The Rotterdam Film Festival. Since 2021 Victoria has been directing music videos for the NYC indie-rock band, ZOPA. These videos, which include, All That Heaven Allows, Red Sky and A Still Life offer a stunning, saturated visual experience.
